What if your whole life, you’ve been running from your past? Hiding, forgetting the truth, making up wild stories to cope with the pain as a child. Someone should never have to remember such horrible and despicable events.
Caroline Mitchell is a force to be reckoned with, especially in this newest title, “Truth and lies.” I will not give away any spoilers but let me say this. “Just when you think everything is figured out, that turns out not to be the case and the ending will leave you speechless.”
The plot is well developed, all the way up until the final confrontational ending. I was hocked on this story from the very beginning, finding out who Ann really was. I recommend this book to anyone who enjoys a good Mystery slash thriller book. How does it feel, to know you parents are serial killers?
