Just when you thought, Hunter Shea couldn’t get anymore sinister, “Creature” hits your desk. What do you do with this new novel? Do you read or do you run? I can guarantee though, the creature outside won’t let you ever leave.
“Creature” is a perfectly creepy story that, takes place at a Maine lake cottage, Kate suffers from Ehlers-Danilo’s syndrome, which may be causing her to be delusional and see things that aren’t there. But what is that lurking in the woods? What keeps banging on the door in the middle of the night? What is her husband, Andrew supposed to do, with a Creature he just can’t seem to catch?
This is the second book I have read by him and I must say,” This book is a true horror book. If you were to read this book at night, alone. You wouldn’t probably be uncomfortable going to sleep that night. From the screams, to the animals left for dead, this is a true journey.” But also Hunter Shea, gives a true sturdy message at the end of this road. I would recommend this book for Young Adults and up.
